The North Texas Garden Railroad Club is a collection of enthusiastic individuals and their families who meet monthly for fellowship, garden railroad talk and a chance to play with (operate) their trains.

     Area residents and visitors are all welcome at our meetings. If you are interested in or curious about garden railroading or maybe want to start your own garden railroad, then come to one of our club meetings. Ask the members about any aspect of the hobby that interests you. Check the Club Activities calendar for the next meeting information. Memberships are available and we welcome your participation.

     The club also builds and operates display railroads at several train shows and other activities each year in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Check the Area Events calendar for the next public event.

One of the stated purposes of our club is "To promote and expand the hobby of Garden Railroading." Participating in various train shows is part of that purpose and goal.

While not specifically a garden railroad event, ponds are an imporant part of many layouts. Also, some of the ponds on this tour will include graden Railroads.

The Modern Water Gardner is the tour book guide which features 48 pond listings, descriptions, directions and color pictures. It also includes a map and pond related articles of interest. It only takes one book per carload. Each book is $10.

     The June NTGRC Board Meeting will be held TUESDAYJune 22nd at 7:00PM at Spring Creek Barbeque at 183 and Belt Line. At this meeting we will install new officers and discuss the upcoming year. All are welcome.
